EDU ’19 is a one-day event that features educational presentations covering aluminum extrusion design, applications, and technology focused on expanding aluminum extrusion knowledge. EDU19 was designed to increase knowledge of designing and engineering products using aluminum extrusion. The program includes subject-specific tracks and networking opportunities.

Back by Popular Demand: The Aluminum Association: Pre-Event 2-Day Casthouse Safety Workshop
Tuesday-Wednesday, September 10-11, 2019
The Workshop is focused on safety training for the molten aluminum environment and topics covered in detail including, molten metal safety, scrap handling and charging, protective clothing and equipment (PPE), casting operations, combustible dust, lock out /tag out, pit guarding and incident investigation. The Workshop also provides an opportunity for industry personnel to work together in interactive sessions designed to foster knowledge transfer across all company and organizational levels toward further improving facility safety performance. Registration for Casthouse Safety is now closed.
